A southern gothic ghost story, which may or may not involve an actual ghost.

Esther returns home after seven years to a small coastal town in Georgia.  But why?  She tells her mother  Savannah it is out of worry because of the looming Hurricane Enoch.  To her sister Deb, she claims to be fleeing an office affair as well.  Her uncle Noah gets another reason.  But the mysteries do not end there.  Savannah and Noah tell wildly different versions of past evens.  All of them have their secrets, and none more opaque than Deb, who may have a severe mental illness.  Or, not.  Every member of this family is in a state of transition and none of them are totally honest.  As they take shelter in a former lighthouse keeper's cottage, the real danger proves themselves.

This is a play about questions, and about tragedy (mostly in the form of self-ignorance).  It has had five different readings but as of this writing has had no full production.
